♥ Banana Bran Muffins ♥

Ingredients:
•1/2 cup butter, softened
•1 cup sugar
•2 eggs
•3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
•1/2 cup buttermilk
•1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
•1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
•1/2 teaspoon salt
•4 cups raisin bran
•1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
•1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
•In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, bananas and buttermilk. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture just until moistened. Fold in the cereal, chocolate chips and pecans.

• Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350° for 23-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Serve warm.

Yield: 2 dozen.

Hi! I had many boxes of Bran flakes and was searching for recipes to get rid of the quantities! :) luckily i found your recipe through Pinterest and it turned out to be amazing!!! the combination of the bananas and the chocolate with the pecan is delicious!! not to mention that they keep you full because they are high in fibers!
